We are looking for a motivated and passionate Associate Software Developer to join the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU Noida. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are eager to build scalable web applications and work on modern technologies across both frontend and backend development. As an Associate Software Developer, you will work closely with experienced developers, architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will gain hands-on experience in building responsive user interfaces, developing RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and deploying applications in cloud environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a learning mindset, and the ability to work in an Agile SCRUM environment. What You’ll Do: * Assist in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining web applications across frontend and backend systems. * Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js and Next.js. * Support backend development using .NET Core / ASP.NET technologies and RESTful APIs. * Work closely with backend, frontend, product, design, and QA teams during development cycles. * Build reusable UI components and scalable backend services. * Participate in API integration between frontend and backend systems. * Assist in implementing SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) concepts. * Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and database queries. * Debug and troubleshoot application issues and fix bugs in existing systems. * Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code following best coding practices. * Support unit testing and code quality processes. * Learn and follow software development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. * Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers. * Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. * Learn and assist in cloud integrations using Azure, AWS, or GCP. * Use version control systems such as Git/Azure Repos for source code management. * Assist in deployment and CI/CD processes, including platforms like Vercel and cloud-based deployment tools. * Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve user experience and application usability. * Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. What You’ll Bring: * 0–3 years of experience in software development (freshers with strong technical knowledge can apply). * Basic understanding of frontend technologies including React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. * Familiarity with backend technologies such as .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/API, and C#. * Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration. * Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. * Basic understanding of OOPS concepts, design principles, and software architecture. * Familiarity with Git and development tools such as npm/yarn. * Awareness of software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum. * Understanding unit testing frameworks such as Xunit, NUnit, Jest, or Cypress is a plus. * Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage. * Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment processes. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication and teamwork skills. Good to Have * Internship or project experience in full-stack web application development. * Knowledge of API Gateway, ORM, or authentication systems (SSO/LDAP). * Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, or DevOps practices. * Prior exposure to Ed-Tech/E-Learning platforms. * Understanding of Agile SAFe and PI Planning concepts. * Any certification in Frontend, Backend, Cloud, or Full Stack Development.
