Know it matters. We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex application issues, primarily supporting insurance and Genius-related applications. You will leverage your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities to ensure high availability and performance of critical business applications, while contributing to process improvements and knowledge management. What you’ll be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include? Resolve escalated incidents from Level 1.5 or through proactive monitoring, ensuring minimal downtime. Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement sustainable, long-term solutions. Perform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, application logs, and monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace and IBM Monitoring. Support users by providing in-depth application knowledge and guidance. Lead or assist with release deployments, particularly for complex or high-impact changes. Contribute to the creation and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for support processes. Proactively identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Produce clear, reliable, and comprehensive SOP documentation. Support audit and regulatory investigations by providing technical insights and documentation. Assist with testing activities related to patching, disaster recovery testing, and other key AXA XL initiatives. Collaborate with L3 support and application development teams to remediate security issues. Identify opportunities for service improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. You will report to Delivery Lead. What you will BRING We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Core / Must Have: Robust troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good understanding of the AS400 operating system. SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing data. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Experience with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and IBM Monitoring. Ability to read and interpret logs effectively. Primary / Should Have: Experience with Genius or insurance applications. Understanding of networking concepts. User training and support skills. Ability to create and maintain reliable, clear SOP documents and knowledge articles. Desired Skills and Abilities: Secondary / Could Have: Knowledge of RPG, .NET, or other scripting languages.
