Position Description Prime Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for an Associate Software / DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Goodyear, AZ. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are excited to learn, build, and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to help build and maintain modern software pipelines, cloud-based infrastructure, and automation tools that support critical national security systems. What You’ll Do: Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (automated build, test, and deployment systems) Work with tools like Git, Docker, and Jenkins/GitLab to support software delivery Assist with automation and scripting (Python, Bash) to improve workflows Learn and support Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) Collaborate with software engineers to improve development and deployment processes Participate in Agile/Scrum team meetings, sprint planning, and standups Monitor builds and deployments, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements Document your work and contribute to team knowledge sharing Requirements U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility) Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field 0–2 years of experience (internships and projects count!) Basic understanding of: Linux command line, Programming or scripting (Bash, Python, or similar), Git/version control, and Software development or DevOps concepts A strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills Nice to Have (But Not Required) Internship, lab, or personal project experience in software or DevOps Exposure to tools like: Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation frameworks Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Interest in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) Why Start Your Career at PSG?
