Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop and maintain features for two custom applications used for R&D teams to find information and deploy dev/test environments.
  • Programming languages are java/nodeJS and javascript/react.
  • Understand Github source control and build github actions to ensure pipelines meet release criteria.
  • Learn security tooling like BlackDuck, Prisma, Polaris and RiskSense and ensure our application is current on all issues found as an example of best practices.
  • Develop scripts and API’s to link data from multiple data sources into MongoDB and/or a relational database
  • Understand your user base by becoming familiar with automated environment provisioning for development teams using Terraform, Kubernetes, Maven and Helm.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience programming in at least one object-oriented application, either in an industry or scholastic setting
  • Experience with API calls and a scripted language
  • Familiarity with a source code repository
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
