Program Summary KBR Readiness and Sustainment division is the Team Behind the Mission. As KBR JOC we deliver construction services to the US Military and collation partners at Djibouti Africa camp Lemonier Naval Base round the world. We furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform renovations, maintenance, replacements, alterations, demolition, and provision of temporary facilities for NAVFAC construction category II, III, and IV tasks. KBR/JOC ensures delivery to the highest standard in every aspect of construction work in a timely manner allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution. Job Summary KBR is seeking an Associate Specialist Quality Assurance that will provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment. Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met. Makes recommendations for corrective action. Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct daily site inspections to verify adherence to project quality standards and safety regulations. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control plans and procedures. Document non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with construction teams. Support the review of construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports. Participate in quality meetings and communicate quality issues effectively. Assist in training site personnel on quality standards and best practices. Support the preparation of quality reports and documentation for project audits and reviews. Ensures that work condition requirements are met by creating audit/inspection reports and making recommendations/presentations to management for corrective/preventive actions. Ensure compliance with KBR’s quality policies and client requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Proven experience in construction quality assurance or control. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, OSHA, EM385, and client-specific quality protocols. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Management Preferred Qualifications Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE, ISO Auditor). Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects. Familiarity with KBR project processes and procedures.
