The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Sourcing and vetting opportunities from Setter’s vast global network, under the guidance of senior professionals
· Assisting in negotiating and securing advisory mandates
· Analyzing GP-led transactions, and direct Secondaries, utilizing thoughtful due diligence and leveraging broad understanding of valuation and finance/accounting topics
· Developing, producing and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects
· Assisting in transaction execution, including managing buyer engagement and syndication processes, etc.
The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following qualities and qualifications:
· Demonstrated interest in and/or aptitude for investment banking, institutional equity sales, fundraising, or other business development and sophisticated sales/transaction roles, ideally 1 - 4 years’ related experience (including internships)
· Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to deliver trusted advice
· A strong sense of urgency and a desire to constantly go above and beyond
· Polished communication skills, good team player, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve one’s skill sets
· Strong understanding of financial concepts, demonstrated by academic performance or finance credentials (MBA, CFA, B.Comm, Business, Finance graduate)
Compensation is commensurate to skills and experience. Please apply with your CV and university transcripts (unofficial is acceptable).
