JOB SUMMARY

This is a physician position and is responsible for applying medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses for patients within the Anesthesiology Institute- General Anesthesia specialty at CCAD. Under the supervision and guidance of a Consultant physician, this position treats patients directly and/or may make referrals to different members of the health care professional team at CCAD.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• For Associate Staff (Specialist) not less than 3 years clinical experience as Specialist post qualification in internationally accredited institute. UAE nationals, require not less than one (1) year experience post qualification in the specialty field.
• Demonstrated expertise in specialty practice area
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with patients, staff and other physicians
• Should meet the Maintenance of Certification requirements (where applicable)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times
• Ability to speak and write in English is required
• Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• MD, MBBS, MBChB or DO (only if the specialization is obtained from one of the following: American Board of Medical Specialties or Certificates of Specializations of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) or qualification from an accredited Institution and completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table listed in Healthcare Professionals Qualification Requirements 2022
