Description
We’re looking for an Associate to join our QIC State Investments Team on a 12-month contract, focused on the delivery of high-quality client support and portfolio operations. Our State Investments team manage significant assets for the Queensland Government and invest to strengthen the State's economy and create lasting value for the people of Queensland.     This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on execution excellence, has a polished and professional client manner, and enjoys being close to both investments and the client side of the business.     Key responsibilities:  1.   * Deliver accurate and timely responses to client queries, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure matters are resolved efficiently.   * Prepare high quality client materials, including presentation packs, briefing notes and other supporting documentation.   * Produce internal reporting such as cash flow updates and regular Board reporting, ensuring accuracy.   * Maintain complete, accurate and up to date CRM records, including meeting notes, client details and engagement history.   * Coordinate applications, redemptions, crossings and other corporate actions in line with required processes and timelines.   * Manage and maintain a database of responsibilities outlined in Investment Management Agreements and other client agreements.   * Coordinate on-boarding / off-boarding, client agreement execution and operationalisation, management of client obligations and additional services.     * Understand the interconnectedness of directors, staff and organisations within the client base.   * Contribute to the delivery of portfolio analytics to support informed investment decisions and fulfill client deliverables.   * Develop a deep understanding of the investment products and capabilities used to build portfolios for QIC’s Government client base.   * Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional and proactive email communication.   * Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to integrate governance, risk and compliance considerations into processes and decision making.     About you  * You’re a confident, trusted communicator who can bring together complex information clearly and accurately.
