Associate Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. Under supervision the Central Tech I processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation. The Tech I issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures and maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status. Required Qualifications: * Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or * Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution * Experience in general office practices and procedures. Responsibilities

The technician processes and sterilizes medical equipment and instrumentation under supervision. They are also responsible for managing inventory and responding to requests for supplies and equipment.
