Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) position who is responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectation in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS)Emergent Requirements (AOG)Team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and have a desire to provide world-class customer support either at our Seattle, WA location.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years’ knowledge in supply chain management
  • 3 or more years of experience in customer support or customer service role
  • Self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
  • Able to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Must speak, read and write fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and integrated product teams

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
  • Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent
  • customer requirements (e.g. AOG)
  • Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution
  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
  • Delegates tasks to manage workload.
  • Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results
  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products
  • or services to include repair capabilities and capacity
  • Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
  • Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment.
