Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Execution is Seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (L2) to join their team in San Antonio, TX.
This role will support execution of supply chain solutions both internal to the Boeing Company as well as with external customers. All roles will contribute to supporting the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul modification center. A successful candidate will have relevant experience with export control and logistics management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in customer support (preferably in a supply chain, procurement, logistics, or material management environment)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
Responsibilities
  • Manages material demand
  • Experience of supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction, warehouse inventory management)
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
  • Originates action to improve existing conditions and processes; uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measures impact
  • Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders
  • A self-starter who demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one’s actions. Exhibits a moral, legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility
  • Experience with export control and logistics process execution
