Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Support Engineering Data Specialist. This position in Oklahoma City, OK will be part of the organization that provides sustainment and modification support to the USAF (United States Air Force) to help maintain and sustain its fleet of Boeing 747 aircraft. This position will be a part of the E-4B Power Plant team that evaluates engine requirements, researches equipment, parts, materials and tools to support sustainment and maintenance; resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues; and work closely with the Air Force and Government customers to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.
This position will also interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations in support of spares, provisioning solutions and overhauls/repairs. This position will work horizontally with other functions across The Boeing Company.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2+ years of experience in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
  • 2+ years of experience working with aircraft drawings, specifically commercial derivative aircraft.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher
Responsibilities
  • Be a part of a multi-disciplined and cross geographical team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met.
  • Prepares routine communications and presentation material for dissemination to internal and external customers.
  • Work with supplier management and internal vendors to schedule and/or project arrival dates of parts.
  • Maintain awareness of operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events.
  • Provide support for operator recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Conducts research on advanced technical, operational and quality issues
  • Analyzes information to evaluate reported discrepancies.
  • Research and analyze systems and components to identify issues and corrective actions.
  • Supports a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with depot maintenance and repair.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and standards in support of part applicability and spares demand as required
