Responsibilities
  • Based from the Guildford Office
  • Technical leadership of a variety of land and engineering site surveys with respect to briefs and specifications
  • Managing resources over the Southern teams
  • Quality Assurance, processing and checking of projects, whilst rigorously adhering to, and ensuring, that the prevailing standards of WSP are met
  • Taking ownership for the successful delivery of projects/programmes; giving leadership and direction to the Southern team, effectively communicating with all parties, identifying and managing risks, planning and progress monitoring in respect to technical and financial considerations. Following WSP’s Business Management System
  • Business development in the Southern regions, bidding for new opportunities and coordinating ongoing bids.
  • Assist the management team to develop and maintain the team to cover the Southern and Midland regions
  • Regular contact with all senior team members to ensure the efficient use of UK wide staffing resourcesSupervision and mentoring of junior members of the team
