Job Description
The Associate DevOps Administrator plays a key role working within a highly collaborative and Agile development team toward the design and production of mission-critical, enterprise-scale business systems. The right candidate is self-motivated, understands technical problems, and is ready to work closely with other team members in various engineering, proactive maintenance, and value-add initiatives.
The Associate DevOps Administrator will work closely with systems architects, software developers, systems engineers, and business analysts to design and maintain enterprise infrastructure, software development pipelines, and miscellaneous system health requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical background with 1-2 years of IT experience
- Strong foundation of PC/server hardware knowledge and skills
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (any language)
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Basic understanding of relational database management systems (e.g. MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres)
- Basic understanding of source code management (e.g. SVN,Git/Gitlab)
- Well-versed in the Linux operating system
- Foundational networking knowledge/skills (e.g. OSI model, protocols)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical background with 1-2 years of DevOps or software development experience
- Solid Linux scripting skills (e.g. Bash/Python)
- Basic knowledge of container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes)
- Basic of knowledge of enterprise observability stacks (e.g. ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Any experience with Java and related technologies
- Any experience with Azure (preferred) or other cloud providers
- Any experience with Oracle databases

Additional Information
Expected base salary: $71,000 to $95,000
