Description
As an Associate Systems Analyst you will be matched to a position within the IT team that meets that meets the needs of the team and aligns with your technical skillset. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and eager to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems. As an Associate Systems Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. * * Monitor system performance and respond to incidents or failures. * Assist in maintaining documentation and user manuals for systems. * Engage in unit, scenario, and end-to-end testing of software systems. * Support the development of test scenarios and validation procedures. [Help implement new programs and troubleshoot issues during deployment. * Participate in the design and documentation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems. * Assist in analyzing system and integration requirements based on business needs. * Ensure systems are designed and maintained with security best practices. * Support the development and enforcement of IT security policies and risk management programs. * Analyze data for incident impacts and recommend resolution paths. * Create or maintain tools (e.g., Excel macros) to support manual workarounds.   About the Program: Scoular Pathways Program is a two-year development program that immerses new graduates in broad-based, accelerated learning, developed to drive profitability through diverse experiences, active networking, and ongoing education.  Throughout the two-year program, the participants meet at our three main corporate locations to network, hear from leaders in our organization and learn more about Scoular and the industry. At the end of the program, participants will have a deep understanding of Scoular's business and how to own what’s possible.   Program Perks: * In-person meetings with program participants where you’ll network, hear from leaders and gain exposure to various aspects of our business * Accelerated learning and development outside of your day-to-day responsibilities * Mentorship Program – you'll be paired with a mentor outside of your team to provide you with further guidance and insight to Scoular * Job shadows and rotations – if you’re interested in exploring other areas of Scoular, you can plan a rotation where you’ll sit with another team to learn more about their business Qualifications   * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree * 0-2 years of experience preferred * Working knowledge of IT-related laws and compliance mandates (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley 404, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, Personal Information Privacy) is desired.   * Great interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation skills   * Strong managerial leadership skills   * Excellent analytical and technical skills   * Strong written communication incl presentation skills   * Professional planning and organizational skills     About Us: Scoular is an employee-owned $9B agribusiness leading the way since 1892.
