The Associate Systems Engineer at Enterfusion will play a vital role in enhancing and supporting our IT systems, partnering on customer implementations, and driving initiatives in data analytics and automation. This role will go beyond general support; we seek an experienced professional with 1–2 years of hands-on expertise in advanced systems administration, automation, and development. Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Engineering & Automation Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or AWS environments. Implement and document advanced tasks such as group policies, security configurations, and system integrations. Create and refine PowerShell or Python scripts to automate system processes and reduce manual workload. Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system performance optimization. Design or recommend improvements to existing systems based on performance analysis. Data Analytics & Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards or reports using Power BI or similar tools. Write intermediate SQL queries to extract and analyze data for operational insights. Automate recurring data workflows and collaborate on analytics projects supporting business and customer needs. Document data processes and provide actionable recommendations based on findings. Customer-Facing Project Work Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and implement new solutions or upgrades. Serve as a technical resource on customer projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Provide advanced troubleshooting and communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–4+ years of professional IT experience, including 1–2 years performing advanced systems administration or engineering tasks. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server environments, and network fundamentals. Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, VPC, Azure AD). Demonstrated ability to write and use PowerShell or Python scripts for automation. Intermediate skills in SQL and Power BI or other data visualization platforms. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with data security and governance best practices. Experience in customer-facing IT roles or MSP environments. Exposure to enterprise network operations or infrastructure design. Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to process documentation. Location This role is 100% on-site in Orlando, FL. Must live within commuting distance to downtown Orlando. COMPENSATION: Annual salary of $65,000-85,000/year commensurate with experience as well as paid vacation, health insurance plans, retirement program, disability insurance, and life insurance.
