JOB SUMMARY:
In accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values, and strategic directions of Provincial Health Services Authority patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at PHSA, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
The Associate, Talent Acquisition (TA) participates as a member of the TA team to provide general support, technical assistance and a variety of recruitment services to external candidates and employees, human resource teams, and hiring leaders/designates in consultation with the Advisor and members of the TA team. The Associate supports a broad range of recruitment activities including verifying job postings, reviewing a high volume of applications, generating Applicant Lists, coordinating applicant testing, and functioning as a key contact in responding to PHSA employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Diploma in Human Resource Management plus a minimum of one (1) year of recent related experience.
Knowledge of Collective Agreements within Healthcare sector is an asset. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; aptitude to listen, ascertain the needs of clients, develop relationships, and respond accordingly in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work with emphasis on time sensitive and confidential matters. Must possess a high level of commitment to customer service, be detailed oriented, flexible and a true team player. Advanced computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, e.g. MS Word, Outlook, Excel, is required. Ability to type at 55 wpm. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and PeopleSoft or HRIS system experience is an asset
