what will you do

The bioassay department performs cell culture and passage of various cell lines. These cells are used in various bioactivity assays where the activity of various drugs are determined. As a Laboratory Technician BioAssay you are responsible for:

• Performing tests such as ELISAs, DNA hybridization, PCR, DRID and Dot Blot and growth promotion
• Maintaining the cell cultures and performing the various bioassays after training
• Responsible for preparing the related media
• Taking care of accurate administration

Within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, the OneLab business unit is responsible for conducting vital tests on all materials related to our medicines. These tests are performed on raw materials, samples gathered during the production process, and the final medicines themselves. Our team meticulously analyzes these materials for their identity, purity, efficacy, and overall quality. Before any medicine can be released to the market, we ensure it meets the standards. Additionally, we conduct stability studies to determine and ensure the shelf life of our products. Our dedicated BioAssay team, as part of OneLab, specifically focuses on supporting existing products, including ReoPro, Remicade, Simponi, Stelara, Sylvant, and Daratumuma.
