Description
Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) using department-specific reports and software tools to ensure efficient workflow. Perform machine and buddy checks, product inspections, and maintain cleanliness standards through regular shift wipe downs. Monitor and resolve lot-related issues, including SWRs, recipe/tool discrepancies, high mean time at step, and hold lots. Track bottlenecks and prioritize key workstations to meet production and ship gap targets. Maintain accurate machine logs and lot tracking data; ensure proper documentation and system updates. Conduct SPC checks, monitor post-inspection results, and enter detailed comments when limits are exceeded. Support procedural updates, training initiatives, and continuous improvement activities in collaboration with engineering. Communicate effectively during passdowns, maintain safety compliance, and manage time to meet operational goals. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and procedures. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) and be willing to move to different shifts and work overtime to support business operations. Must be capable of regularly lifting 25-40 pounds, which constitutes approximately 10% of the job duties. AAS or AS Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent trade school/military experience). 2 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or technical military experience. 2+ year experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements.
