who are you

As a sample logistics associate technician you are someone who loves to be super accurate in their work. You’re good at seeing what could be better, but you also listen to other people’s ideas. Working in a team is no problem for you. Plus, you have a real interest in lab work, maybe from experience or just because you find it fascinating! To apply, you’ll need a European passport or a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

• You have completed a secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher.
• You feel comfortable communicating in English. (Dutch is a plus but not specifically needed)
• You are immediately available to work in day shifts (08:00 AM - 17:00 PM) and the location in Leiden

what will you do

As a Sample Logistics Associate Technician you are responsible for technical and physical lab support. The sample management team, handles tasks like distributing samples and goods, managing outgoing shipments, processing results, and coordinating stability studies.

• Receive, check and distribution of several sample types (in process control, water, final product and raw material)
• Coordination of samples for shipping to other sites and entering of external test results in eLIMS
• Initiation and coordination of stability studies
• Preparation of samples for testing (aliquotation, labeling etc.)
• Appropriate storage of sample reserves, retains and sample inventory management.
