POSITION SNAPSHOT The Associate Technology Solutions Specialist is responsible for hands-on technical support for MVTA endpoint devices and systems. The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues to support daily operations. This position works closely with IT staff and other departments to ensure reliable and efficient technology services. This is a limited-term position intended to support ongoing operational needs and project-based work and must have flexibility to cover after-hour events and on-call duties as assigned. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS * Assist with implementing endpoint solutions, including hardware, operating systems, software applications, and security configurations. * Configure and deploy endpoint devices, ensuring proper connectivity, system stability, and user productivity. * Maintain endpoint management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and secure operations. * Monitor systems and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed. * Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks associated with devices and implement remediation strategies. * Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding endpoint devices, software applications, and connectivity-related issues. * Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to endpoint management, security, and device configurations. * Collaborate with IT teams to integrate solutions with other infrastructure components, such as network systems and cloud platforms. * Assist in the evaluation and selection of endpoint management tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. * Ensures supervisor, customers, and co-workers are informed of critical issues and of any changes in the status of critical issues.  * Communicates system outages and critical downtime that may impact user availability of network resources. Contacts software/hardware vendors when appropriate to resolve system issues. * Perform other duties as assigned or apparent. CORE COMPETENCIES & CREDENTIALS * Training at vocational school, related on-the-job experience, or an associate degree plus LCT; focus on information technology (IT), end-user support, networking, administration, or a related field. * IT support experience * Possess a Network+ (Plus) Certificate * Possess an A+ (Plus) Certificate * Valid Driver’s License DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS * Proven experience in endpoint management, including device provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting * Strong knowledge of hardware components and software applications commonly used in endpoint environments. * Familiarity with endpoint best practices, patch management, and access controls. * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and system management tasks. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex endpoint issues. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide user support. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of enterprise mobility management (EMM) and mobile device management (MDM) solutions is desirable. * Understanding of network protocols, connectivity principles, and cloud technologies is a plus.
