A DAY IN THE LIFE
- The Associate Territory Manager 2 (ATM 2) will partner with the field sales and clinical teams and act as a resource in markets to drive sales, cover cases, lead in-service activities, and support expansion and growth within our business. The ATM 2 will report directly to the District Manager and support specific territories and business initiatives in tandem with Territory Managers. Additionally, the ATM 2 may be required to work outside primary territory assignments as required by business conditions and travel will be a consideration at varied times throughout the fiscal year.
This is a field based role. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential for this role, which also involves travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes and sells Medtronic’s Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including, interventionalist, nurses, contracting and key opinion leaders.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and selling products to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s Neurovascular products and/or services.
- Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options.
- Promotes and provide education of the company’s products and/or services to staff and physicians.
- Execute Company sales/marketing strategy and manage sales process for territory.
- Respond to customer inquiries and product complaints and file all appropriate paperwork on a timely manner per Medtronic policy.
- Develops and executes a strategic account plan to grow and defend sales in territory (accounts)
- Project professional company image in the field and at any company sponsored event.
- Manage all inventory systems as described by Medtronic policy.
- Utilize Salesforce (C360) on a regular cadence for planning, forecasting, and sharing information with internal business associates.
- Utilize software resources available.
- Ability to provide weekend and emergent case support as needed.
- Identify mutual opportunities and support customer relationships with other Medtronic business units.
- Identify Targets and measure growth on a quarterly basis (DM/ATM/TM)
- High level communication with business partners (TM, CS, DM)
- Manage assigned geography within allocated expense budget. Submit expense reports and pay Company credit card on time per Medtronic policy.
- Utilize MBO’s for sales development.
- Completes a thorough analysis of key target accounts. Responsible for generating and following-up on sales leads.

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

3+ YEARS MEDICAL DEVICE SALES EXPERIENCE
- Clinical experience in the interventional suite and/or hospital environment
- Experience selling high physician preference medical devices, preferred endovascular space and/or neurovascular space (catheter based)
