MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years B2B sales, preferred in medical device industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with surgeons and other medical professionals
  • Must have demonstrated strong leadership skills and initiative
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions demonstrating sound judgment
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards.
  • Ability to travel 75%+ of business days

Responsibilities
  • Support the territory managers in the region to grow and protect their business, namely in focus product lines
  • Assist in training and in-servicing of territory managers and customers
  • Maintain awareness of competitive activity through both personal contact and literature searches; provide feedback to internal departments regarding these activities
  • Assist the regional managers as requested on projects such as product launches, market analysis, etc.
  • Assist in the development of salesforce selling skills through regular visits to customer accounts
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to clinical staffs and customers
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of all Oncology products, techniques, specifications and applications
  • Assist the Regional Sales Managers in developing new business opportunities including expanding our current markets and entering new geographic areas
  • Assist in the planning and execution of programs and promotions to increase sales and profitability
