Description Position: Associate Therapist Location: Granite Bay Campus Reports to: Operations Director, Bayside Counseling Center FLSA Status: Non-exempt Job Status: Part-time Overview The Associate Therapist provides Christ-centered, clinically excellent counseling services that promote emotional, relational, and spiritual health. This role carries a consistent client caseload, practices ethical and professional excellence, and integrates faith and sound clinical practice within the counseling process. The Associate Therapist operates under supervision and is committed to continual growth in both clinical competency and spiritual maturity. Counseling & Client Care Maintain a caseload of 15–20 clients per week, working a minimum of two days per week, including at least one evening or Saturday shift. Conduct 50-minute therapy sessions. Maintain a minimum 70% client retention rate. Complete documentation promptly, including timely completion of Initial Evaluation forms following the first session. Return client calls within 24 hours. Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations in a timely and professional manner. Appropriately terminate cases when clinically indicated. Actively engage in and make effective use of supervision. Prepare for sessions thoughtfully and prayerfully, including review of case notes and treatment strategy. Abide by the AACC Code of Ethics and all applicable professional standards. Clinical Excellence Demonstrate strong assessment skills across physiological, situational, and intra-psychic perspectives. Develop clear case conceptualizations using an integrated clinical approach. Create and implement treatment plans aligned with case conceptualization. Articulate the direction and rationale of treatment clearly. Integrate the Gospel and biblical truth appropriately within the counseling process. Identify and continue developing an area of clinical specialization. Supervision & Development Meet individually with the Clinical Supervisor as directed. Attend a minimum of two weekly group supervision sessions (2 hours each). Participate in required in-service trainings and professional development opportunities. Requirements Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy Ability to maintain a caseload of 15–20 clients per week. Average client session fee is $100 per session. Demonstrated commitment to Christian counseling integration. Client Services Compensation You will receive a percentage of revenue generated from the clients you serve: 35% of revenue when carrying 10–14 clients per week 50% of revenue when carrying 15–20 clients per week Percentage tier is determined by your average weekly active client load.
