Pennoni Associates is currently seeking an Associate Traffic Engineer to work in either our Tampa or Clearwater, FL office with experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Assisting with complex traffic engineering tasks with other staff on highway and bridge projects.
• Leading and developing traffic studies and highway occupancy permits.
• Signing and Pavement Marking design
• Assisting with development of Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
• Assisting with development of Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Impact Studies (TIS)
• ADA Design and Curb Ramp Design
• FDOT Access Management, TSM&O and Complete Streets Initiatives
• Assisting with the development of project Cost Estimates and Specifications.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to technical staff (e.g., CADD).
• Experience with traffic-related software packages (Synchro, HCM, VISSIM, SIDRA)
• Experience with FDOT and similar public sector clients (Counties, Cities, Townships)
• Developing client relationships with Public and Private Clients.
