The Associate Track role is composed of early-career roles on the legal pathway. Roles at this level focus on gaining practical legal experience, often across a variety of law specialisms. Likely to be actively working towards gaining a legal qualification. Roles at this level assist in basic legal research, document preparation and undertake administrative legal tasks. The roles and responsibilities of this job include: Conducts basic legal research to assist with case preparation, focusing on understanding fundamental legal principles and relevant law Drafts legal documents, such as simple pleadings and correspondence, under close supervision Assists in organizing case files and ensuring that all necessary documentation is systematically maintained and is accessible Supports the discovery process by gathering and sorting documents, and preparing materials for review May attend court sessions and depositions to gain exposure to legal proceedings and support senior team members Handles administrative duties like scheduling meetings, preparing case summaries, filing and managing documentation No supervisory responsibility Works under close supervision Law degree Working towards a legal qualification Sound understanding of legal principles and foundational knowledge of law Gaining experience handling basic legal tasks and supporting legal matters Good research, writing and analytical skills Equal Opportunities White & Case is committed to creating a fair workplace.
