Description

Overall Objective: As an established healthcare provider, we require a Healthcare Trainer to act as the contract associate trainer for our company. You will be responsible for providing training and workshops to learners and internal staff; working closely with the learners to provide training support and demonstrations. You will also be responsible for the training of learners through out Ireland in our other offices.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, planning, conducting and/or co-ordinating appropriate training programs for the company, within QQI’s guidelines and quality assurance measures;
  • Maintain good customer and supplier relationships by performing all duties in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
  • Record and document customer satisfaction using feedback procedures.
  • Developing and delivering workshop training days, including on-site training including pre-course preparations and resources
  • Compile Service information for Tenders, liaising as necessary with Sales staff.
  • Developing and delivering training programs on specific healthcare needs.
  • Compile and cost non- billable service reports.
  • Providing training and support for field based employees
  • General clerical duties, ensuring filing is up to date and efficiently organized, including quotations, letters, memos and minute departmental meetings.
  • Developing and presenting product training programs and workshops for healthcare customers, and providing as required practical medical advice and support
  • Managing and co-ordinate principal partner training events
  • Educating and coaching relevant departments so they are equipped to provide care and advise on training requests
  • Skills/ Experience/ Education
  • A relevant third level healthcare qualification
  • Relevant medical training experience, i.e. First Aid Instructor preferably at EMT level, would suit someone who has experience in Occupational Instruction, nursing or has paramedic experience
  • Minimum 3 years training AND/OR commercial experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Motivated self starter with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Flexibility, team work and creativity are a key skills requirement also and are essential to this role.
