Role summary As an Associate in Transaction Services Account Management, you will support the growth and development of ING’s Transaction Services business in Taiwan. You will focus on ensuring smooth execution of locally booked transactions, strong risk and compliance standards, and effective coordination across local and regional stakeholders. This is an individual contributor role that combines transaction oversight, risk awareness, and business support in an international Wholesale Banking environment. About the team You will join the Transaction Services team in Taiwan, part of ING Wholesale Banking. The team works closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, and regional stakeholders to deliver trade finance and cash management solutions to corporate clients. The role reports to the Head of Transaction Services, Taiwan, and offers exposure to both local execution and regional coordination. Client interaction is part of the role, typically alongside or through senior team members. What you’ll do Transaction oversight: Monitor and support the execution of locally booked Transaction Services deals, ensuring timely escalation of issues and securing approvals for any deviations Risk & compliance: Perform transaction monitoring, due diligence, and periodic reviews in line with the bank’s risk appetite and internal policies Business development support: Assist in identifying and assessing new Transaction Services opportunities, contributing insights to enhance client solutions and profitability Operational excellence: Ensure smooth end‑to‑end processes and timely resolution of operational matters, supporting efficiency and client satisfaction What you bring A tertiary degree in a relevant field 3-6 years’ experience in Transaction Services, with strong exposure to trade products and receivables financing or Trade Operations experience within banking A thorough understanding of credit risk for Wholesale and Trade Finance transactions, including the ability to analyse financial statements and product risk Hands‑on experience with trade finance and cash management solutions Strong transaction management skills and the ability to work effectively across geographies and functions Clear, confident communication skills, with strong written and verbal English and Mandarin A self‑directed, motivated mindset, with resilience, learning agility, and a collaborative approach What we offer Exposure to a key growth business within ING Wholesale Banking An international environment with close collaboration across Asia Opportunities to apply operational or credit expertise in a broader commercial context A culture that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning How to apply Click the apply button on our career site and submit your application via Workday, ING’s official recruitment system.
