Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Urban Planner to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of urban planning projects that shape the future of our rapidly growing city. Assist in the preparation and review of urban development plans, including land use, transportation, and infrastructure projects Conduct research and analyze data to support urban planning decisions and policy recommendations Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and maps using various planning software and tools Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists Participate in public meetings and stakeholder consultations to gather input on planning initiatives Support the development and implementation of zoning regulations and land use policies Contribute to the creation of sustainable and livable urban environments Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in urban planning and sustainable development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred 13+-15 years of experience in urban planning or a related field Proficiency in urban planning software, such as ArcGIS and AutoCAD Strong data analysis and visualization skills Excellent project management abilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Proven research and report writing capabilities In-depth knowledge of urban planning principles and practices Familiarity with zoning regulations and land use policies Understanding of sustainable development practices Ability to work efficiently and organize multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to travel within the city and region as needed Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
