Reporting to the Manager, Valuations & Financial Structuring, you will work within a high-performing, collaborative Corporate Development & Strategy (CD&S) group with a strong track record of supporting the business with outstanding financial modeling and analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on highly strategic and impactful projects across various sectors as part of a centralized Valuation & Financial Structuring team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex and detailed financial modeling and analysis, including valuation modeling, to support potential acquisitions, divestments, capital investments, and/or other strategic initiatives.
  • Support all areas of transaction/project implementation including valuation, research, opportunity evaluation, due diligence, and documentation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Nutrien’s operating segments to effectively support strategic investment objectives.
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize internal operating data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain and validate modeling assumptions.
  • Develop, update, and maintain financial models.
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior executives and the Board of Directors.
  • Present critical-thinking-driven insights and data clearly and concisely.
  • Facilitate effective communication between Nutrien operating segments and corporate decision makers to promote collaboration and information flow.
