Description

The Valuation Associate will be a part of our Singapore office, which is the center of excellence within APAC, and will have the opportunity to work on cross-border assignments within the region. This role will not only be valuations-focused but will also have opportunities to work on other M&A advisory related assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform market and industry research
  • Develop financial models to value private companies
  • Identify and value intangible assets for financial reporting, tax or M&A purposes
  • Analyse if the financial projections are reasonable by comparing against appropriate benchmarks
  • Prepare and deliver high quality valuation reports in accordance with relevant international valuation standards and/or financial reporting standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, CVA, RICS or ASA) is a plus
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Familiar with common valuation methodologies and approaches
  • Familiar with the use of research/technical tools such as S&P CIQ, Mergermarket, BloombergBasic understanding of relevant financial reporting standards
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
