Morehead City, NC is a port town located just four miles from the picturesque Atlantic Ocean. Being so close to the ocean, the city is home to many water activities, including both recreational and competitive fishing, scuba diving, boating, etc.! Since 1957, the city has hosted a yearly Marlin fishing tournament, that draws in a crowd and some of the largest marlins in North America.
