JOB DESCRIPTION

Hassayampa Veterinary Services, a well-established and privately-owned, Veterinary Practice located in the quaint western community Wickenburg, AZ, is in search of an experienced and enthusiastic, full-time Veterinarian to join the team. This practice is well-equipped and primed for growth. Applicants with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply!

QUALIFICATIONS

To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:

• Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
• License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Arizona or qualify for licensure.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Veterinary medicine required.
• Willingness to take on a large and diverse caseload - Services for SA would include preventative, urgent, and surgery cases. Mixed or Equine enthusiasts should be comfortable with Western performance/pleasure, Ambulatory, In-Clinic, and Emergency services.
• A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
• Be knowledgeable and skilled in the practice of veterinary medicine
• A team-oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
• An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets!
