As an Associate Vice-President, Corporate Finance Inc. you will develop extensive transaction advisory experience through your involvement in the day-to-day execution of our mandates.

What you will do:

  • Assist with preparation of pitch books, teasers and confidential information memorandums and management presentations
  • Prepare integrated historical and projected financial models to support key decision making
  • Assist in identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers and/or investors.
  • Communicate directly with a variety of parties including clients, other advisors and transaction counterparties.
  • Assist in coordinating and organizing due diligence for clients.
  • Provide analytical and market research information (i.e. public company pricing multiples, industry research, etc.)

What you bring to this role:

  • CPA and/or CFA designation required
  • Post-secondary degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or public accounting
  • Proven track record of project execution in a similar fast-paced professional setting
  • Strong technical finance proficiency, including knowledge of financial statements, valuation and general accounting principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Highly motivated, committed, and flexible to work and succeed within changing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with proven organizational skills and an ability to solve complex technical problems
