WPES issues and programming are complex and constantly changing due to changes to provincial bargaining agreements, re-alignment of services/client care groups and the changing landscape of work. The Associate must have a broad understanding and sound knowledge of the various types of health care careers to effectively coordinate and plan programming, events and understand client needs. Knowledge of health service delivery in the province is also required. The Associate works in close collaboration with the Specialists on the team to provide support for daily workforce planning & employment issues/challenges that arise. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 1+ years experience in Human Resources Education Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Business Administration diploma (DBA) Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Human Resources diploma Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor of Human Resources is acceptable Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable Competencies Computer skills Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Capability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovation Critical thinking skills Knowledge and Abilities Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge in LEAN management system Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
