Job Description Dual maker and Checker role on trades validation and ensures on-time settlement of all trades (Equity, Bonds, Structured Products, OTC Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, Other complex FX Swaps. Processing of post trade product life event of structured Notes and OTC Derivatives including but not limited to Early termination, Interest processing, final maturity & so on Ensure settlements of trades are in compliance to policies, procedures and market regulations. Ensures full compliance with all policies and regulations including SFA’s T+X+1. Complete adherence to SLAs with Wealth Business and other internal and external customers. Assists in liaising with counterparties for any issue to ensure fast and effective resolution. Ensure proper and timely reconciliation of cash, securities and other GL accounts. Conduct end-of-day checks of Avaloq orderbooks and make sure that there are no trades left unattended and unprocessed. Ensure that all Derivatives regulatory reporting to MAS are done on timing basis. Reviews and assesses processes and introduce system improvements for efficiency and controls. Participates in system’s UAT as and when assigned. Keeps SOPs and process maps updated for any process changes. On-time escalation of issues and risks to the Team leader or to the Department Head. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Experience in a private banking and wealth management environment in the backend operation. Adequate Knowledge of Investment Products (i.e. Structured Product/Derivatives) Adequate Knowledge of Swift Message i.e. MT2X/MT5X/MT6X Have some knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting Functional knowledge/experience in back-office support is required Able to multi-task, a good team player, Self Motivated with good interpersonal skills Able to take on new tasks as required by the business and by the management Meticulous, alert & have an eye for figures & details. Good work Knowledge of MS Office applications especially MS Word and MS Excel.
