Position Overview: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Association and Event Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our managed associations. This role works closely with Executive Directors, internal teams, and association boards to deliver exceptional member services, organize events, and ensure smooth governance processes.
Reports to: Executive Director of the Association
Chief Operating Officer
Association board of directors and Executive Committee

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willing to work on special projects, above and beyond the above scope of work, from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7 + years of experience in association management, event coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Customer Relationship Management and Association Management Software.
  • Experience working with boards or committees, along with corporate governance is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with not-for-profit organization or in the building industry is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Key liaison with and between the association board, committees, members, and managers.
  • Maintain and update member database and related items including the membership directory.
  • Produce reports and maintain membership and similar statistics and metrics.
  • Organize association events, and other activities about the overall management of the association.
  • Work with external vendors and coordinate contracted services.
  • Provide information on membership, benefits of membership and other association initiatives.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Assist in administration of CRM systems.
