THE ROLE:

The Assistant Bar Manager will be a key support figure to the Bar Manager, helping to oversee the daily operations of the pub. This role is perfect for a passionate and ambitious individual looking to take the next step in their hospitality career. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the bar, leading the team, and maintaining our high standards of service and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operational Support: Assist the Bar Manager with all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and cashing up.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate bar staff, ensuring they are well-trained and providing exceptional customer service. Act as a positive role model and leader on the floor.
• Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers, handle inquiries, and resolve any issues to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock ordering, and receiving deliveries to ensure the bar is always well-stocked.
• Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are strictly followed at all times.
• Staffing: Assist with creating staff rotas and managing breaks.
• Promotional Support: Help in the planning and execution of events, promotions, and special occasions.
