Job Description We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Director of Engineering to join our organization in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee engineering operations, drive technical excellence, and mentor a talented team of engineers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven management capabilities to lead our engineering initiatives and contribute to organizational growth. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Analyze complex technical challenges and implement strategic solutions that optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align engineering objectives with organizational goals and business requirements Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering operations and conduct regular performance reviews Develop and manage engineering budgets, allocate resources effectively, and control project expenditures Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols across all engineering functions Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of long-term engineering roadmaps Maintain strong communication with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners regarding project status and technical matters Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field Minimum 8-12 years of professional experience in engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in project execution and technical problem-solving Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience leading engineering teams Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail Proficiency in technical communication and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating and developing team members Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (CAD, simulation software, or similar platforms) **Preferred Qualifications:** Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification Experience with Lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies Familiarity with quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or process optimization environments Job-Category: Engineering & Maintenance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
