RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for Community Medical Center.
Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey RN License
• At least 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years acute care nursing experience with previous management experience

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

• Day Shift, 40 hours per week

• Manages patient care delivery on an assigned shift
• Ensure that Post Coronary Care Unit is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations,
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Leadership skills; critical thinking, problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ambition and desire to positively impact patient care, patient experience and the overall success of the unit
• Responsibilities include assisting the Director in managing the unit with staff schedules, evaluations, discipline & QI
