Assistant General Manager
Duties:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
- Supervise and train employees, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue
- Assist with scheduling staff members to ensure appropriate coverage during operating hours
Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, such as a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, bartending, and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in computer software applications related to restaurant management
