Overview This job exists to support the research mission for the Division of Neurology. The person in this position extends the activities of the current research coordinator including providing leadership for any research assistant or individuals on the team in the coordinators absence. Responsibilities Under supervision, prepare for initiation of new clinical and non-clinical research protocols being conducted in the Division of Gastroenterology. Maintenance of clinical report forms (CRF) and tracking data relating and pertaining to research projects. Under supervision of PI, Director of Research and Coordinator recruit subjects into research studies, obtain written informed consent, screen subjects, perform study visit procedures and gather data. Under supervision hazardous waste management in the Division of Gastroenterology. Qualifications Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience Experience in research subject enrollment and database management for one year period of time HS diploma or equivalent or Associates degree and 5-7 years experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Preferred Benefits at Children's Mercy The benefits plans at Children’s Mercy are one of many reasons we are recognized as one of the best places to work in Kansas City. The pay range for this job begins at $22.99/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
