[What the role is] The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department support NAC’s strategic thrusts in driving a Creative Economy, a Connected Society and a Distinctive City through establishing successful People, Public, and Private Partnerships. The jobholder will cultivate and grow a culture of arts philanthropy by building strategic partnerships with donors, corporates, and community stakeholders, mobilising private giving and support to sustain the arts ecosystem and strengthen the capabilities of arts organisations and practitioners in Singapore. [What you will be working on] Development and implementation of strategies for arts philanthropy Assist in the implementation of data-driven strategies to grow individual and corporate giving to the arts Track and monitor philanthropy trends to inform strategy Support the review of existing philanthropic initiatives to assess relevance, recommending adjustments where necessary Assist in the rollout of new giving strategies, including administrative and coordination support for the establishment of an endowment fund and other giving approaches Programme Management of recognition platform: Patron of the Arts awards Assist in the coordination and management of the end-to-end awards process, including nominations, evaluation, to the awards ceremony Support engagement and communication with arts organisations, donors, and corporate partners throughout the awards cycle Coordinate with the appointed events agency (EMC) to support smooth delivery of the awards ceremony Assist with post-awards follow-up to support relationship stewardship with award recipients Effective administration and stewardship of the Sustain the Arts (stART) Fund and/or private donations Process and coordinate the evaluation and approval of grant applications Support grant disbursement, utilisation tracking and compliance monitoring for all awarded grants Assist in check-ins and engagements with grantees under guidance of the team lead Coordinate the appointed consultancy, including progress reviews, and quality oversight Support the end-to-end management and delivery of the annual stART Impact Evaluation Report, including data collection, review, and finalisation Assist in preparing regular updates for donors on fund utilisation and impact Support the review and help implement improvements to management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness Effective management of administrative and operational responsibilities in support of the Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and documentation across all philanthropic initiatives Track and monitor budgets, expenditures, and prepare timely reports for management and stakeholders Coordinate meetings, engagements, and events with internal and external stakeholders Provide general operational support to the philanthropy team Support cross-function and cross-department initiatives [What we are looking for] Relevant experience in philanthropy, fundraising or grants management Relevant experience in stakeholder engagement and events management, including vendor management Experience working within Singapore's arts and cultural ecosystem, with good understanding of arts organisations, the funding landscape and sector-specific challenges, would be advantageous Functional Competencies Required: Business Development & Needs Analysis Sector/ Industry Programme Development and Management Industry/Sector Partnership Management Stakeholder Management Contract Management Policy Design & Implementation http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
