[What the role is] The Education & Manpower Development (E&MD) team oversees policies and programmes which aim to build a skilled arts workforce that will shape Singapore’s cultural development. To support the professional development of the arts sector, our key strategic directions include manpower planning and development through research on the arts workforce, skills development, manpower policies as well as to provide greater support to the arts self-employed persons (SEP). You will contribute towards the formulation of policies and strategies, and/or implementation of programmes and partnerships to support the arts self-employed persons to unlock new opportunities and grow meaningful careers through the work on the Arts Resource Hub (ARH). You will also work on building strong relationships with arts institutions and relevant government agencies that are involved in the support of arts self-employed persons (SEP). [What you will be working on] What you will be working on: Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the Arts Resource Hub initiatives. Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaborations and partnerships for the Arts Resource Hub. Coordinate and implement programmes for the Arts Resource Hub, including events, digital resources, and other ARH-related projects. Support the operations of the Arts Resource Hub, which may include operations of the co-working spaces, liaison with vendors, managing and responding to ARH-related enquiries and emails. Manage procurement-related matters, including putting up and preparation of ITQs/ITTs, payment processing including processing invoices and churning of reports. What we are looking for: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in project, event and/or partner management. Entry level applicants are welcomed if they demonstrate key competencies in areas highlighted in job description. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Good communication, relationship management, project management and writing skills. Proactive, resourceful, independent, self-motivated and a team player. Passionate about the arts and culture, and good knowledge of the arts landscape in Singapore. Deep understanding of at least one of the following sectors (literary arts, visual arts, performing arts) will be an advantage.
