Asst. Purchasing Manager cum Cost Controller

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of fruits, vegetables and raw materials.
  • Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to challenge and works with manufacturers to reduce cost and or throughout the contract duration, while maintaining design integrity Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports. Prepare the costing for recipes and menus.
  • Perform test checking on the receiving of goods at the hotel to ensure that the procedures are followed correctly
  • Prepare daily flash report of food costs and verify daily outlet void control sheets Ensure that all products are stored properly (location, levels, FIFO)

Requirements:
Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
3-5+ years of UAE experience as a procurement officer/Cost Controller or in a similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferably experience in FMC system.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Supervisory and management experience. Attention to detail. Structured and logical mindset and good office skills.
Preferably with UAE driving license with own car.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Master’s (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Purchasing Manager in Hotel: 3 years (Required)
  • Cost Controller in Hotel: 2 years (Preferred)
