JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Asst. Sales Manager to join our growing team at Minar Engineering & Technical Services (METS) – UAE (www.minarengg.com ). He will be responsible for driving sales of industrial pumps, Electrical and instrumentation systems , Marine Engineering & Industrial products Repair Services, Sustainability solutions in Water and Carbon management, Project management services, HSE Consultancy services to clients across the UAE and GCC. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and build lasting client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Mechanical engineering preferred, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering also considered.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment, pumps, electrical or automation sectors, service related sales in UAE.
  • Technical knowledge of Pumps, Electrical & instrumentation systems, Marine engineering services and industrial controls.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC industrial, Marine, Oil and Gas markets and key sectors is preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT tools, technical documentation.
  • Ability to travel within UAE and occasionally to GCC countries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned territories and sectors (Marine, Oil & Gas, Water, Wastewater, Industrial, Chemical and Other segments).
  • Meet or exceed the set Key Performance Indicators and Sales Objectives for short term, medium term and long terms growth.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and technical solutions from our portfolio (pumps, electrical & instrumentation products, control systems, Sustainability solutions, HSE services and other offering of METS).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and service teams at customers to develop business and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and service contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows, technical seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on product developments and industry standards.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers through contacts, cold calls, networking.
  • Coordination with the principals we represent and add value creation to our partners.
