Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of ARC policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that policies are communicated effectively across the organization, including organising workshops and seminars on compliance and risk management topics.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and support the identification and assessment of cross-business risks and the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Assist in the review of compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Assist in the follow-up of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of ARC activities and prepare management reports on ARC initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with GRC objectives and to promote a collaborative environment and culture of compliance and risk awareness.

To be successful, you will:

  • Previous experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of defence regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to report data in a meaningful way for senior and executive leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint and Atlassian tools is desirable.
  • Be able to research, develop, implement and embed new processes which are customised to the specific business environment.
