Description

Our firm is a growing customer acquisition and sales firm in the Kansas City region. We are projected to double in size before the end of the year, and are in need of a Full-Time Sales Trainee to help us with our expansion goals. The Entry Level Sales Trainee position plays a crucial role in our team’s ability to provide our clients with new customers and a positive brand image.

Sales Trainee Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective customers to learn about their current communication and technology needs (phone, internet, wireless, etc.) and determine their eligibility for AT&T’s offerings.
  • Develop a strong understanding of AT&T’s products and services to effectively communicate value to business customers.
  • Provide potential customers with information about the benefits, pricing, and options available for AT&T’s business services.
  • Tailor your pitch based on the customer’s business type and specific pain points
  • Continuously monitor leads through the sales pipeline and update statuses, ensuring no prospect is left behind.
  • Regularly attend sales team meetings to share updates, best practices, and feedback from prospects to improve strategies
  • When prospects express hesitation, assist in addressing and resolving objections, offering incentives, or negotiating terms if necessary.
  • After a customer is enrolled, follow up to ensure satisfaction and resolve any initial issues or concerns they may have.
  • Regularly assess personal performance against sales targets and collaborate with mentors or supervisors to improve sales tactics.

Sales Trainee Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • This is an entry level position, therefore no prior experience is required, however some experience in a customer facing role is a plus!
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of people and group sizes
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Able to commute to our office on a daily basis
  • Able to work full time and start immediately
