In Böblingen, we are looking for an ATE Test Engineer V93000 (m/f/x) in fulltime. This position is suitable for software developers with background in electronics and for semiconductor test engineers knowledgeable in writing high quality software. Experience with Advantest’s Test System V93000 is required for this position. Occasional travel to customer sites is needed.

ATE Test Engineer V93000 (m/f/x)

Your responsibilities:

You will develop test programs with SmarTest 8 or SmarTest 7 and execute them on a V93000 system.

Your main tasks would be the following:

• Developing test programs using Java / C++ in a Linux / Eclipse-IDE environment
• Identifying test cases based on customer specifications
• Maintaining and harmonizing existing test programs
• Debugging of test programs, test program failures or anomalies in the data
• Maintaining the environment, tools and scripts
• Schematics design for test HW

Your profile:

• Experience in V93000 SmarTest 7 or SmarTest 8 Test program development
• Proficient in writing software using Java or C++
• Strong Background in electronics
• Familiar with Linux based systems, and state of the art development environment (Eclipse-IDE, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.)
• Experience in schematics and HW design is a plus
• Passion for quality, background in testing
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
