Description The Athletic Operations Coordinator is an integral member of our school community, supporting the mission of developing student-athletes who demonstrate integrity, commitment, and excellence both on and off the field. This role ensures the smooth daily operation of our athletic programs while maintaining the highest standards of eligibility, compliance, and communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relational, and energized by working in a fast-paced school environment where teamwork and student support are at the center of all we do. Evening and occasional weekend availability is required, as this position plays a visible and supportive role during athletic events and game nights. Serve as a key point of communication and support for varsity coaches. Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with parents regarding schedules, eligibility, and athletic requirements. Partner closely with the Athletic Director to ensure cohesive program operations. Assist in coordinating and executing home athletic events with professionalism and school spirit. Oversee compliance with FHSAA eligibility and participation requirements. Work closely with the Athletic Trainer to ensure all medical and participation documentation is current. Collaborate with Admissions regarding HSE and transfer students to ensure full eligibility compliance. Maintain accurate records and proactively monitor eligibility status. Coordinate athletic scheduling, officials, and event logistics. Manage and maintain athletic databases. Assist in training coaches and staff on system usage and compliance procedures. Partner with the Business Office to coordinate billing and athletic-related financial processes. Requirements Experience working with varsity athletic programs. Working knowledge of FHSAA eligibility and compliance standards. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with composure under pressure. Demonstrated interpersonal warmth and professionalism. Proficiency with athletic databases and compliance platforms preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings during athletic seasons.
